Al Wordlaw – A Legacy of Service, Poetry, and Music | The Al Ur Pal Project

Al Wordlaw is more than a poet, author, and music producer — he is a man of service, faith, and soul. A devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, he served 22 years as a Chicago firefighter, protecting lives and teaching fire safety. Honored by the International Society of Poets with the Poet of Merit Award and Distinguished Member honors, he also authored the inspirational book Love Is Our Law. His music journey includes producing soulful tracks for the group Rushing on Jam City Records, later reissued worldwide. Today, through The Al Ur Pal Project (www.thealurpalproject.com), he continues to share music, poetry, and faith-driven stories that uplift and inspire.

His creative reach has extended into film and theater, from appearing in the 1986 movie Wildcats with Goldie Hawn to producing the inspirational stage production Knock Satan Out.
