The Al Ur Pal Project is the creation of Al Wordlaw, a Chicago-based producer, songwriter, and former firefighter whose music fuses Motown soul, gospel, and the smooth vibes of 90s R&B. A devoted Seventh-day Adventist, Al brings faith, love, and hope to every song, crafting music that uplifts and inspires across generations.

Al has written and produced more than 70 tracks, collaborating with gifted artists including Shen Asidor, Huly Ray Asidor, and others who bring unique soul and depth to his music. His catalog blends heartfelt storytelling with timeless grooves, always carrying the message of love and faith.

Among his standout releases is “Happy Sabbath Day”, a joyful anthem that has resonated deeply with listeners and reflects his commitment to creating music that encourages both the spirit and the heart.
